Public Health Leadership Program's On-campus Sessions
- The Leadership Workshop is designed to further students’ understanding of leadership and of their leadership skills and style. As part of the seminar, students develop personal definitions of leadership and leadership development plans for the future.
Distance MPH in Leadership
- First Year Symposium: The Fall (August) session is critical in establishing relationships with your peers and with us. You will become familiar with the program, explore team dynamics, begin your coursework and have any remaining questions concerning the program answered.
- Spring Seminar: In the Spring (dates in March or May), the Leadership Workshop will focus on personal leadership styles and effective strategies of leadership in a variety of environments and circumstances.

Visitor’s Parking Map
This page gives you additional information on University Parking as well as the Town of Chapel Hill Parking Lots. We recommend the Dogwood Parking Deck across from the hospital on Manning Drive, two blocks from the School of Public Health, or the Park and Ride lots; the buses in Chapel Hill are free, and you may want to take them to and from your hotel. Parking rules on-campus are very strictly enforced, please follow them carefully to avoid a ticket!
