| Mary Linker, a 1993 MSW/MPH graduate of the UNC Maternal and Child Health Department, received the Social Work Outstanding Achievement Award from the N.C. Public Health Association.The award honors Linker’s work as the manager of the Family Outreach and Support Services Division at the Chatham County Public Health Department. Linker has been with the department since 1994, playing a key role in establishing the outreach and support services division in 1997. In addition, she is active in the community, volunteering with the Coalition for Family Peace, Allies for Chatham Families and the Chatham Transit Network.
