Introducing a New Master's Degree Option
Revisions to the Department’s Master of Science in Environmental Engineering (MSEE) degree requirements have been made to include more focus on engineering practice to complement the research focus of the other graduate degrees offered by the Department.
The main changes are in the format of the Technical Report, which are designed to (1) address more directly the demands of engineering practice, and (2) permit completion of the degree within a year. (Applicants who are more interested in a research-oriented degree are encouraged to apply for the Department’s MS or MSPH degree.) Students may be admitted to the MSEE degree program if they have completed an undergraduate curriculum in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or from a foreign institution with an equivalent program.
The revised MSEE requirements, effective for the class entering in Fall 2013, may be found here. For further information on the revised MSEE degree, contact Professor Pete Kolsky, director of the MSEE program.
