IntraHealth International and UNC’s public health school offer joint fellowship opportunity

| IntraHealth International and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health are offering the Summer Fellows Program for current public health master’s and doctoral students. The program is administered jointly by IntraHealth and the School’s Office of Global Health.
This program provides master’s and doctoral students at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health the opportunity to work directly in specific areas within IntraHealth, including HIV/AIDs, family planning, maternal and neonatal health, health systems strengthening, and program development. Fellows also may work on projects which increase health care accessibility by resolving gender-based health care disparities, innovating training and researching health informatics. Students will be assigned mentors from IntraHealth who will help them to achieve goals, including the accomplishment of an appropriate research project and paper that will fulfill program credit requirements. In addition, Fellows will be encouraged to form a supportive group and to use each other to reflect on ideas and experiences. The Office of Global Health website offers additional information about the program and how to apply.
