Department Names 2006 Award Winners

Undergraduate Awards

Jennifer Marie Cox and J. Bryan Mallory were named the recipients of the 2006 Foster G. McGaw Scholarship for outstanding first-year undergraduates.

Master’s Awards

Preston Hammock was named the Benjamin Rodin Scholarship award winner for 2006.

Elizabeth Hackney, Emily Keyes and Molly King were named the AUPH/McGaw Scholars for 2006.

The Jean G. Yates Health Policy Award was given to Catherine Coleman.

Larry Clark was presented with the Jacob Koomen Public Health Practice Award for his public health service as a senior policy analyst and legal counsel to the Democratic Whip of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Doctoral Awards

Virginia Wang and Asheley Skinner received the Harry T. Phillips Award for Outstanding Teaching by a Doctoral Student as a result of a new course they designed for the DrPH program.
