If you're part of #UNC #Gillings, you're invited! This summer, the School is hosting on-campus screenings of the American Public Health Association's summer webinar series on the Impact of Racism on the Health and Well-being of the Nation.
The four-part series addresses issues of critical importance to us all, as evidenced by the School’s mission to eliminate health disparities, the centrality of diversity and inclusion in our strategic plan, our community’s engagement with the Black Lives Matter movement and more.
Join us for live screenings of the one-hour webinars. The first, "Naming and Addressing Racism: A Primer," is happening NOW in 2301 McGavran-Greenberg Hall!
The remaining webinars will be screened at the same time on Aug. 4, Aug. 18 and Sept. 1. The Aug. 4 viewing will take place in 2306 McGavran-Greenberg Hall; the next two viewing sites are TBD.
If you're unable to join the on-campus screenings, you can register at the link below to participate online. (One free CPH credit is available to participants who register, attend the entire webinar, complete the online evaluation and obtain a CE certificate.)View on Facebook
