2014 Commencement

We invite you to join us for the Gillings School of Global Public Health 2014 commencement ceremony!

  • Saturday, May 10, at 1 p.m.
  • Carmichael Arena
  • Reception to follow in the Michael Hooker Research Center
All family and friends are welcome to join us. Guest tickets are not required for this event. However, we ask all attending graduating students and faculty and staff members to RSVP.

The School will celebrate December 2013, May 2014 and August 2014 graduates of the Gillings School of Global Public Health.

We are pleased to announce that two-time alumna Nicole Bates, DrPH, will be our commencement speaker. Dr. Bates is the Deputy Director for Global Policy and Advocacy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The School will honor Dec. 2013,  May 2014 and August 2014 graduates at the ceremony. All of these graduating students are encouraged to participate in the ceremony, which includes a walk across the stage, a photograph with Dean Barbara K. Rimer and a gift from the School’s Alumni Association.
