Carolina for Kibera named "Hero for Global Health"

| Carolina for Kibera (CFK), an organization started by students at UNC-Chapel Hill, has been named one of nine “heroes of global health” by Time Magazine. CFK provides support for youths in Kibera, Kenya, the largest slum in Africa.The “heroes of global health” award was presented to Kim Chapman, a UNC-CH public health graduate student in the Department of Health Policy and Administration who also serves as Chairwoman of the Board for CFK. Kim accepted the award on behalf of the organization in early November at the Time Global Health Summit in New York.
