Mark Rampolla was the 48th annual Foard Lecture speaker. Rampolla currently is the co-founder and managing partner at Powerplant Ventures LP, an investment organization interested in delivering better nutrition to people around the world, and also was co-founder and chief executive officer of ZICO.

EPID Department Mixer Event

The Department of Epidemiology is hosting a mixer event held in the evening preceding Experience Gillings: Admitted Student Day, a School-wide event that welcomes admitted students.

This event is an informal way for admitted Epidemiology students to mingle and connect with current faculty and students, and we hope with you – local alumni! It will be a warm welcome for those students who are excited to start in the fall, as well as a great way to help sway those students who are still debating whether to make UNC their final choice.
