CHAPEL HILL — Fifty students from the UNC School of Public Health who won fellowships or scholarships during the 2004-2005 academic calendar year were honored recently in an April 7 recognition ceremony hosted by the UNC Graduate School on the Carolina campus.The ceremony also recognized inductees into Alpha Epsilon Lambda, the Frank Porter Graham Honorary Society, and the Order of the Old Well Honorary Society.

Alpha Epsilon Lambda is the national academic honor society for graduate and professional students. The Frank Porter Graham Graduate and Professional Student Honor Society recognizes graduate and professional students for outstanding service to the University and community and for outstanding contributions to the development of graduate and professional education at the University. The Order of the Old Well Honorary Society recognizes students of high character who demonstrate exemplary and generous humanitarian service.
