2007 Child Care Health and Safety Calendar wins National Health Information Award
Maternal and Child Health project wins award for health information materials The North Carolina Child Care Health and Safety Resource Center in Raleigh, N.C., was selected recently as a winner in the 14th annual National Health Information Awards. Jonathan Kotch, MD, MPH, professor in the Department of Maternal and Child Health, serves as project director for the Center. The awards program recognizes the nation’s best consumer health information programs and materials. It is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse that promotes the distribution of accurate, timely consumer health information materials to professionals and managers in the field. Kotch receives project funding from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services’ Divisions of Child Development and Public Health and from the UNC Department of Maternal and Child Health. |
